The Lord Sheffield sails into the sunset driven only by billowing square sails.   Listen to our sunset music while the  crew pamper you with our famous BBQ ribs and chicken, hor d'ouevres and full open bar. Bring your camera... the Caribbean sunset as seen from the deck of a tall ship is something you do not want to forget.  And you never know... you might see the "green flash."

Learn from the crew, and see first-hand how the great windjammers of yesterday were sailed. Take a turn at the wheel, share a laugh and meet new friends. Join us at 4:30  for our pre-departure dockside cocktail party.  Meet the crew and other passengers while enjoying complimentary drinks. Note:  Unlike most other "sailing" excursions... we don't run our engine while under sail.

Where: Dock Maarten/Great Bay Marina, Phillipsburg (Chesterfields restaurant)
Check In:  Is at the boat 15 minutes before departure
Join Us at 4:30 for our on the dock ... before we leave... cocktail party. Get to know the crew and guests.
Departs: at 5:00 PM .... Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Returns: at 7:30PM
Drinks: Open bar with champagne, wine, beer, rum punch, margarita's, mixed drinks, juices, soft drinks, water etc.
Food:  We have BBQ ribs, BBQ Chicken, French bread, cheese, vegetable trays and various other finger food. Lots of food.  You will probably not need to eat dinner.
What to bring: shorts, shirts, and a light sweater and consider seasick remedies if you are susceptible to mal de mer.
Suitability: The Lord Sheffield is suitable for all ages, but it is not equipped to deal with wheel chairs and a certain amount of mobility is required. That being said, the crew of the Lord Sheffield are happy to work with customers to accommodate physical disabilities. Please remember... while The Lord Sheffield operates on the protected side of St Maarten ... in the Caribbean Sea... the sea does occasionally get rough and there is always the chance of seasickness.  If you think there is any chance that you may get seasick... take a pill before you get on the boat.... don't let seasickness ruin your fun.

Price: 

Private Charters:  $700 for the first 12 people.  $35 per extra person.  A 15% gratuity will be added.
