Travel Agents Program

If you are a travel agent and you wish to sell our activities,  we've got a program for you.

Not only do we provide excellent commissions but we can also operate as agents on the ground in St Maarten so you know your customers are participating in the best, most affordable and safest excursions.  We know St Maarten, we know the activities and excursions and we know the operators... and most of their staff for that matter.  Because of this, we  can help you arrange anything your customers may require.

Is it possible to pre-book customers on excursions i.e., before customers embark on cruise ships and planes?   The answer is a resounding yes. Lord Sheffield Tall Ship adventures books over 60% of its customers in advance... sometimes over 6 months in advance.  Today's travelers know that to make sure they get on the activities and excursions that they want... they need to plan in advance.  This insures that there is room (everyone knows the that best excursions do not have huge capacity) and it ensures that precious holiday time is not wasted with indecision.  If you plan your time you will do more, see more and have much more fun.

And remember... if you don't book your cruise customers on excursions... the ships will be quite happy to do it.  And they are unlikely to share the 40% or more commission that they charge your customers.

If you are interested in joining up with us it is very simple.  All you need to do is demonstrate to our satisfaction that you are in fact a working Travel Agent and we will set up a special account on our secure bookings site... www.stmaarten-shoretrips.com/catalog.  When you book a tour with us (with a credit card) we will simply deduct your commission from the advertised price.

Facts About St Maarten:

St Maarten (Phillipsburg) is one of the busiest Cruise Ship ports in the world with approximately 1.5 million visitors per year. The port can handle 4 full-size ships with room for many more anchored out.

St Maarten's airport (Queen Juliana Airport) currently handles over a million passengers per year and is in the middle of a major expansion that will allow to handle up to 2.5 million passengers a year.  Most major airlines in Canada and US fly to St Maarten and the runway is large enough to handle 747's and other large aircraft.

St Maarten boast over 30 beaches, over 35 activities and is home to world class dining and  hotels. AND...  if you ever get bored... simply jump on a boat and visit one of the three closely located island paradises... Saba, St Barths and Anguilla.
